Today I had my first band session since starting out at OSC and I have to say that the 3 music pieces that we are going to be playing is going to be fun. The first song would be ‘Don’t Stop me now’ by Queen involving a changing tempo and I have to keep track of my place in it. The second song that we are going to be playing is ‘Superstition’ by Stevie Wonder which according to the more senior members was the song they were supposed to play for the spring gala before Covid and the pandemic cancelled everything in 2020. The last song would be ‘Don’t Stop The Beat’ by Marc Shaiman. Hopefully as we go on, We can sound like a proper band despite our small numbers.
