During last few weeks ever since we have come for Service, we have tried to make the most of it by making certain arts and crafts to send it to the Cancer hospice. Some examples for this include making some loom bands, needle and thread and for Valentine’s day we made some cards to make the kids happy. To make the Cards the group had taken pink paper and cut it into heart shapes with these shapes, they put certain words such as “you are who you are”. The next set of weeks for the Hope for Kids group is going to an interesting next few weeks. The group is planning on making creating a tie dye T shirts as drive to promote the service group and try to get funds to be able to get some toys or any type of other material the kids at the hospice could use. The other plan we have set is our food drive we do every year where we give the necessary food groups to the families at the hospice. These food groups include ones like Milk powder, green gram, Olive Oil and Rice bags. With these plans in set we at Hope for Kids believe through a time of crisis we would be able to make it the best year yet and achieve bigger goals as we have over the last few years.

LO5: Towards showing commitment and perseverance, my Job and the Hope for Kids group is managing the media and the website the service group is holding. That means in order for all the information to go through it has to go through me or Devanga ( The Service leader). Having said that my job means putting a lot of commitment in order to achieve the list of plans.
