Cycling down small roads
0December 6, 2021 by cascoordinator
During this weekend two things one being I was able to get back on the saddle with a cycling journey (a small one) because its been a while. this happened on a Saturday morning where I got up and strapped my bike and just went. I did my usual ride I do with a group which get to Independence square, I could not map in on my Phone using Strava because I forgot to take it that day. I passed some of the most of interesting places that is known for scenery such as Marine drive, Galle face green and so on and so forth. The ride lasted for about 1and half hours which was good for me as I could take the time to feel the fresh air for the first time after the stress from the IB IA’s.
In terms of outcomes I learnt
L01: Strength and Growth which was important to me I had gained strength by going with my Dad and he would help me be careful by objects that were coming close-by and how to address this in a calm and simplified manner. now after many years of training I now have the skills needed to make sure to be safe when I go on my own and because of what I have learnt I am going to be able to apply it when I go by myself and implement my skills for future rides.
