Getting back in to a workout session was a little odd as I have not done it in a few months. The routine I started off was the usuall routine we practise for Basketball that is run about 10 rounds to get our heart rate on and then do some streches such as lunges, high knees, leg ups and sprints. My Sprint routine started with where I first walked to one side and then sprinted back ten times after which I took a five minute break in between. My next routine was a 7 minute session on the Air Cycling machine, each minute was divided into sections where one minute it was a slow cycling and every other minute I kept increasing the speed.  Adding onto my Crossfit exersice was some Basketball mini drills, these drills were crossovers, through the legs, behind the back etc…As I was getting the hang of it I could not do more basketball drills because , the  ball went out of reach from my hand and to the neighbours property. All and all I exercised for intense 30 mins with 3 breaks. I am not sure on the amount of calories I burned but I was tired. I would continue to use this plan  until I am able to get back and play in a Basketball court.

LO1 Identify own strengths and develop areas for growth

The learning outcome that I found from doing this activity is that even after fasting for Ramadan and then taking a break for two more weeks I was still able to do a proper sprint and still not be tired after two minutes. Another strength I found out was I still had the ability to do burpees even though they were not in the right form, this I feel is  a good sign for me because if I keep continuing to do so the exercise will get better.  I want to improve my basketball skills 😂, because I felt unfit and by taking small steps in doing the drills that are above I feel when I play in the courts I would be in good shape. I was also thinking about setting up a timetable to help me Shedule when to workout and when should be a “rest day” that way it will be sustainable and easy for someone like me to use.
