Gardening is a healthy way to intake your beautiful surroundings and appreciate nature. In addition, I feel like gardening helps an individual’s mental health greatly. Since lockdown started, I’ve started the hobby of gardening because I love plants and find it calming to do it. I’ve also been able to bond with my mother in this process because I help her grow these plants. I think I find this activity relaxing for my mental health especially after a long day of work. Gardening is known to be both good for the mind and body so I feel like that plays a crucial role in it, too. Home-grown vegetables are also said to be healthier so I think that gardening in overall is helpful not only to me but to my environment too.
