Creativity:
My goals for creativity will be taking leadership in different situations and helping to organize, for example, having a girls’ football activity solely run by my friend and me. We will plan out each session and reflect on how the session went in order to see if we need to spend more time on one thing rather than moving on. Another example of this will be paired with my service aspect as I am a service leader. Myself along with 3 other service leaders will be planning the English learning aspect of the service session through the use of different learning techniques.
Activity:
My goals for activity is to try out for a sport each season and hopefully make the team for all sports. In the first season, I aim to train and travel for the SAISA volleyball team. In the second season I aim to train the whole season (3 times a week for 2×1.5h and 2h) and travel for the SAISA football team as well as the basketball team which is during the third season.
Service:
My goal for service is to maintain service leader in order to come up with different English learning techniques. We want to be able to create a fun and safe learning space for the kids. They see English as a school subject where they get grades which causes them to get worried and nervous. I aim to help break down that barrier and get rid of the expectations that they hold for themselves. I also aim to get some swim lessons set up, and give them an experience that they wouldn’t normally get in their everyday lives.
