Surfing in the UK

Over the summer holiday I was able to surf in the UK to keep up with activity. Because surfing is one of my favourite sports and fairly accessible in the UK I was able to surf a lot over the summer. First up in Bristol at an incredible place called the Wave which is an artificial wave pool that offers perfect waves every time. I was there for a 1 hour long session where I was able to work on my turns a lot to improve, which I did a lot and can now be implemented into my surfing in Sri Lanka.

The second time I was able to go surfing was down in Devon and Cornwall. It was much colder down there and the waves were not as nice. However, there was a beautiful view on the  Cornish coast line. I was really happy that I was able to surf for 4 days down there and it was a new and incredible experience.  I was able to keep up my hobby of surfing and continue to improve which was also one of my goals from last year and remains a goal going into this year.
