Creativity goals:

This school year I auditioned for the part of the Plant in Little Shop of Horrors and was successful. For this semester, I want to work on getting a good voice impression for my character; the Plant has a very arrogant and confident personality, and I want to try different accents and voice impressions to perfectly match. I would also try to memorize my lines early on so that I can worry about the musical aspect of the play as well as my expressions and body language. Another creative act would be our lunchtime music performances every 2 weeks, which is part of our DP Music. My goal is to learn around 5-10 new pieces this semester and perform them succesfully; along with this, I am taking saxophone lessons every Thursday.

Music:

– Perform as many pieces as I can (part of music class)

– Learn the full Libertango piano arrangement with a deadline of 6th October

– Start more intense music theory classes

– Start learning classical piano pieces

– Get some singing classes to prepare for Aquarius – 5th Dimension

– Finish learning Take 5 – Dave Brubeck on the saxophone

Activity:

My activity goals are all related to SAISA sports: football, basketball, volleyball, and with the exception of surfing as my weekend sport. Although I am not participating in SAISA volleyball, I still want to train and improve my spike. Football season starts at the end of October and before that I aim to start jogging more often and playing with friends in my free time to warm up for season trainings. Hopefully this year I am put upfront more often rather than playing in goal for a whole game, so I need to start improving my stamina from early on. Finally, I will try to go to the beach as often as possible to surf more and work on my backhanded surfing skills.

Service:

– Make perfect attendance to service

– Build for and help other school through my service

– Contribute to as much as I possibly can

– Be more involved in planning, such as the Home Runs or bake sales

– When going to the beach, if I see it is polluted pick up the trash and discard of it or do a beach clean up day with a close-by restaurant or organization
