Girls for Girls: Update

This year girls for girls has not done much. Myself and Pabasha (service leader) we talked about this issue and we dedicated an afternoon to figuring out what we can do as service leaders. We have three eighth graders, two ninth graders and one tenth grader along with Pabasha and I who are in DP 1 and 2. Sometime it is hard to keep everyone together, make sure that they are focused in service and they do the work that they have to do. We as service leaders want to make sure that our girls enjoy service but we also want them to be focused and engaged in the work that they do, they tend to get distracted really easily. Pabasha and I had a talk with them and we told them that we need to take is much more serious and work hard to make this a good service. After a whole hour of talking Pabasha and I came up with the idea that each service member conducts a session. Rika has her session where she makes t-shirts with them and we thought it would be a good opportunity for everyone to be involved and engaged. We also came up with many ideas for fundraises and we talked about my CAS project as well.
