Service begins in senior year!

The new school year has provided an opportunity for the Gecko Gear service group, as well as myself, to put our sales skills to use. We started on a positive foot, earning around 70,000 rupees, which goes to founding our school service project. I’m proud that I was able to help sell many t-shirts, hats and bags during the school picnic, going a little outside my comfort zone to market our products to people walking around. In addition to this, I had a great opportunity to practice designing a bucket hat for our school, it allowed me to use my creativity and gave me experience and confidence to try and design more clothing items for our service group.
