(PC OSC Photographer) The 30th night was one of OSC’s annual magical evenings. The OSC Oscars have become a tradition that students look forward to right from the start of March. In a nutshell Oscars is a jazzed up night providing us with an opportunity to dress up in suits and dresses to receive made up awards hahaha! When I say this, I don’t necessarily mean the awards are some kind of make-believe fantasy, but they are made up in the sense thatthey are based on unique scenarios which might happen in the future, to try and find a student that everyone agrees would fit that particular category. For example my good Friend Akash, has won the award for being the most likely to be late to

class and graduation twice now. Unfortunately, I still haven’t won any Oscars awards, hopefully I’ll be able to fit into a crazy scenario that they may make up next year!

I have gone to the Oscars twice now, most recently last week and the year before. I really like it because it’s a very social event and it gives you a chance to mix and mingle with students in our school, away from any school work! I think the most memorable part of the Oscars tradition is when you get to dance late into the night with your friends, as the DJ mixes up some amazing songs.
