I decided to sign up for boys football because I haven’t played football in a school team since 5th or 6th grade. I’ve been to most of the practices so far and it’s been going well I would say. I got goalie gloves and shin pads for this and recently I just bought a pair of cleats which I’m still getting used to. Last Friday we played a match against Stafford which we made two teams for. The team I played goalie for won 9 to 1 and the other team won 6 to 4. Our team had a pretty good match because the Stafford team was pretty disorganized and we won because we put a lot of pressure on Stafford (another reason is because their goalie couldn’t really hold the ball well). I have signed up for the away team but I won’t be mad if I don’t make the team as I just started doing football in the first place for fun. I had a fun time that day and I want to continue going to practices.
