Last session, another one of my friends came along and joined us in badminton. One of the matches we played was Chirath and the Gym assistant in one team and Vansh and me in the other team. Vansh and I were losing 13 to 1 in one of our matches but somehow the score ended in 22 to 20 with us winning the match, so I proceeded to do a lap around the gym in excitement of somehow winning with a huge comeback.
After a while Vansh had to leave but more of the people who usually play badminton here at school showed up not too long afterwards. It was fun playing badminton again after the month long break of not playing because of winter vacation.
I think some stuff I could take away from this badminton session was the need of communication in badminton pairs, as because we had came back from holidays and some of us hadn’t played in a long time we sort of just forgot to talk about what we were doing mid game and so we had some collisions of rackets and also a lot of misses because people both tried to get the shuttle at the same time. Another thing to add on to this was just no one calling it so it sometimes just landed on the floor and no one tried.
I think this session was the best one yet as I hadn’t lost a single match and I believed I played it well. This session was also the longest one yet going for 2 hours.
