Looking back on past years of service at Housing and Habitat, we have planned home runs and worked with WWW projects as well as our hands on project, tables and chairs. This worked with going into the workshop and collaborating with others to gain in person building skills to solve challenges. During DLP we briefly contacted a transnational NGO, Habitat for Humanity, in which we started to build plans for possible fundraising projects and getting active in provide homes for less fortunate communities.

Now that we are back in school, opportunities for service are coming in, as a member of housing and habitat school service, we hope to partake in the goals we had planned now that we can get physical again. After discussion with our service coordinator, we are striving to get back in the workshop and develop, consistency and meaningful contributions in service, not necessary fundraising but more to the physical contributions we can provide to local communities and schools as well as the takeaways we can get from those experiences.

We are in the talks with possibly working with local school in Thalangama, close by to school to possibly provide physical and non-physical contributions to the community and the children.

Our most present goal is to get the service together and work out leaders, as well as projects to start ASAP.
