The mystery of human existance lies not in staying alive, but in finding something to live for – Fyodor Dostoevsky

Lockdown Exercise

With the recent lock down I thought it was time to write a blog about my exercise routine whilst confined to my house.

– I’v tried to run everyday. Just before the lock down begun we bought a treadmill so i’v had the opportunity to run everyday. I usually run between 1 and 2 KM for about 5 to 10 minutes.

– Iv taken to doing planks for abdominal fitness. Just after school closed I was able to plank for about 1 minute, now after several months that’s upped to almost 3 minutes.

– For cardio, I’v started jump roping. Iv seen the benefits it can have so for about 10 minutes a day I use a rope I bought from Decathlon.

Overall I feel that these exercises have helped me maintain more than physical health. With so much exercise I find myself productive and able to complete tasks I would otherwise have problems with. Exercise has helped me maintain a positive mental attitude throughout the lock down.
