Weekend Workout

This Wednesday, I was able to add one more level of weight on the multi-station machine after 2 weeks of after-school practice. I’ve incorporated cardio trainings to improve my fitness, specifically strength and endurance. At the start of the year, I planned to go to the gym twice a week – one 30min session on Wednesday and one 1 hour session on Saturday, but after some weeks of slacking-off, I was able to come back on track 2 weeks ago. (LO4:Show commitment to and perseverance in CAS experiences) On Wednesdays, I would do 5 minutes of fitness workout, 20 lat pull-downs, and 20 leg curls; and on Sundays, I would do a full body workout: arm crossover for 10 minutes, shoulder press for 10 minutes, 20 lat pull-downs, 20 leg curls, and 20 sit-ups. If I still have time, I will stretch for 2 minutes and do a massage on the massage chair. Though it was hard at first, as I practice more, the weights become easier to lift, and the time left at the end become longer, which means I should probably change the plan now, and add more diversity and intensity into the training in the future, such as running on treadmill and some outdoor activities. (LO2: Demonstrate that challenges have been undertaken, developing new skills in the process)
