Hope For Kids food drive🥗

Due to Covid-19 situation, Temple School service is kept on hold at the moment. Therefore, I joined Hope For Kids service for the last semester of school. Hope For Kids service aims to address and relieve the impact of Cancer on those children who have been diagnosed with the disease and are currently living in CCC House receiving treatment.

Currently, the food drive is in action having started on 22nd of March. Both primary and secondary students can contribute to this food drive in the manner shown in the posters below. Moreover, social media specifically Instagram is being used in order to spread awareness about the project and to receive more contribution.

When the posters were ready to be shared, a couple of the service members were engaged in pasting the food drive posters around the school in the primary and secondary classroom buildings.

The significance of this project is the positive impact on the well being of children affected by Cancer. The young cancer patients have a range of nutritional requirements which are fulfilled to a certain extent by the donations of the food drive.

The members of the group including myself had a great experience working collaboratively dividing tasks among ourselves which also helped us finish the ground work on time and get the project up and running.
