Returning to Service

After about two years of waiting we were finally able to meet for Care for Paws in person!

After our successful tie dye shirt sales, a project that spanned two years, as well as some very generous donations from amazing students in our community, we have all the finances to run our annual sterilization and vaccination camp. So our first meeting we just had to choose some possible dates in February to run the camp. We work with Adopt a Dog to make the camp possible so its a constant communication to figure out what dates will work.

In the past we have had our camp at an empty lot around the corner from school which is a possibility we have been looking at. However, one year we were able to run it a the local army camp which is something we’re looking into as it was a very successful camp and the location was really ideal.

In the meantime its about getting to know everyone in the service, as we have a lot of new people, and potentially volunteering at an animal shelter in the city.
