Working-Out – cycling (Getting Ready for a Marathon)

In an order to stay fit while being in lockdown, I used the cycling machine in my house to work out in the mornings. I cycled for an hour every day before school to make sure my leg muscles are staying fit for football and for when I go to marathons in Turkey this summer. These marathons are usually around 10 km and take place close by my house where I participate yearly. It is done by our mutual family friends and in an order to still stay fit and train for it, I will continue cycling every morning, and do steps every morning (stairs). Due to lockdown and not being able to go to my gym, I will be using the alternatives I have at home to train, like my cycling machine, jump rope, resistance bands, and staircases (for cardio).

LO1:

I have been working out consecutively for a year now, I also did football in an order to stay fit, however, due to lockdown and Covid-19 I have not been able to participate in team sports or go to the gym. Therefore I have been doing alternative workouts at home to strengthen my lower body and improve my stamina. After not being able to work out for a month or two, I am trying to get back into shape and get ready for the marathon. Through consistent working out, I am able to demonstrate growth and improvement in my figure and how much I can work out daily. This shows me how I have been improving my skills, muscles, and abilities.

LO2:

The challenges that come with working out every morning is that I have to get up early and if I have school that day, getting very exhausted sincere I wake up two hours before classes commerce It is difficult to able to workout and attend classes early hours of the day. However as I committed and set on participating in this marathon, I have to keep working out and undertake these challenges. Although it has been hard to wake up early and be consistent every day, I have seen improvement in my skills and I am not as drained or tired as I use to get at the beginning of my working out journey. I have also noticed my paste picking up and my stamina improving, indicating I have achieved process and if I continue I can successfully run 10 km.

LO4:

I have been working out consistently every morning for 3 months now, before school cycling, and jump rope on the weekends. I have been very committed to my workout routine as I want to reach a goal of running 10 km this summer. With consistent and committed training I have been seeing improvement in my stamina and skills and believe can improve them further by showing preserver once despite the challenges.
