French Poster

In my French B class, our teacher likes to engage in the IB curriculum by integrating Creativité, Action, Service (CAS) into our French classes. This school term I finished my Creativité component by making a poster on Zinedine Zidane’s accomplishments and his life.

 

 

Zinedine Yazid Zidane is a great legend in the sport of football! In my poster I explain how he helped France with football and what he is up to currently. I created this poster as I love football and in order to engage with CAS in my French class I explored one of France’s greatest players. I am sure he was the best of his generation!

 

Learning Objectives:

LO1: Identify own strengths and develop areas for growth

Making many posters previously on canvas, I was familiar with all the tools, however I took my work to the next level by taking time to choose an appropriate colour scheme and layout in order to make it engaging.

LO2: Demonstrate that challenges have been undertaken, developing new skills in the process

I made my poster more engaging by learning new ways to design posters using the various selection of tools on canvas .

LO3: Demonstrate how to initiate and plan a CAS experience

In order to engage with CAS in my French classes, this poster allowed me to connect with French culture in a deeper level by exploring their football culture.  I chose a poster to be my medium of presentation as it is the best way to convey a large amount of information to other people.
