My CAS Goals
Creativity: Sometime last year, I got into digital art drawing and did a few pieces, however, I never really got to develop my artistic skills. So, a goal I would like to set is to improve my drawing skills by learning different artistic techniques and ways to draw. I will work on this skill by watching how different people draw on social media platforms like youtube and twitch and trying to implement them into my pieces too.
Another goal of mine would be to rekindle my music-producing skills as I haven’t done it in a long time. I would like to learn some new techniques and improve my beats as I feel that I am lacking in that area.
LO1: Identify own strengths and develop areas for growth
LO2: Demonstrate that challenges have been undertaken, developing new skills in the process
Activity: I would like to work on building myself a personal weekly workout routine with different activities on different days to keep myself healthy and avoid burnout, as the same workout routine every day gets boring and I end up unmotivated. This will also prepare me for the upcoming SAISA sports seasons.
If possible, I would like to join several SAISA teams like basketball, rugby, football and athletics which would allow me to build my team skills too.
I also do Taekwondo for 2 hours each week, and since obtaining my third black belt recently, another goal could be to learn and perfect all my new techniques and movements within the next year or two.
LO2: Demonstrate that challenges have been undertaken, developing new skills in the process
LO3: Demonstrate how to initiate and plan a CAS experience
LO4:Show commitment to and perseverance in CAS experiences
Service: I would like to join a service group like eco schools within OSC to help develop the school community. Furthermore, I am also considering to start a podcast with a friend that could put several global issues in the light.
LO5: Demonstrate the skills and recognize the benefits of working collaboratively
LO6: Demonstrate engagement with issues of global significance
