Badminton Is a sport that I love and enjoy playing. I decided to try out and try making the SAISA team. However, I still missed my old team very much, my old friends, and my teammates. To meet them this year I decided no matter what it took I had to make the team just to meet them. As we started practicing I realized that my skills were there I just didn’t have enough stamina. So throughout the season, I kept on practicing, harder and harder. As the battles got harder I improved more as a player. Throughout a tough season, Mr. Luvinzu and Mrs. Gayana kept on pushing us to the max sometimes even getting mad at us. On the selection day, I qualified with flying colors not losing one game. After qualifying for the team we trained even harder with some mishaps and injuries. As the traveling day got closer, Aura and me got appointed as the team captains. A huge role that I’ve never led before. We arrived in Bombay on the 17th of April. Our first game started on the 18th of April where we had wholesome rounds of games with Lincon. Our team pushed hard throughout the tournament, placing 4th at the end. As this being the last SAISA Badminton that I will attend I decided to get the best out of it. Overall I would rate this SAISA one of the best. Not only did we connect as a team, we took care of each other and had fun at last. This SAISA was one filled with memories and an experience to take away.
