From the 23rd to the 25th of August our grade (11 or DP1) went on a trip to Borderlands
in Kithulgala and made our way through Marvel Canyon over the course of 2 days. On this trip we went canyoning, hiking, white water rating, swimming and cliff jumping. We had lots of fun and made new memories through these experiences with one another. On day 1 of this trip we met at school ready to depart at 6:15 am and we went straight to the canyon. On the first day of our trip we went down the first small canyon after a short hike then went hiking to go white water rafting down to the camp that we stayed at. On the following day we started off with morning yoga sun (sun salutation) then spent most of the rest of the day on hiking to Marvel Canyon, canyoning then hiking back. On the last of the trip we went hiking to old caves where we shone torches at paper puppets and then we made or way back to camp then back to school. My favorite part of the trip was the food we ate each day and spending time in the river outside of camp messing around and hurting my feet with friends. The picture above was taken on day 2 of the trip which was definitely the most fun day, we spent most of the time canyoning then we finished off the canyon with a big cliff jump then lunch. The photo was taken at the top of the last canyon jump and in it is me and my friends.
