MY CAS GOALS :)

Creativity – To pursue my creativity this year I will involve myself in many more school events such as doing backstage management for the upcoming ‘Little Shop Of Horrors’ production, COMUN, and more. I hope to explore my creative side much more this year and extend my capabilities as a creative person through these experiences. This year, I am excited to pursue several aspirations. Firstly, I want to play a more vital role in COMUN, I want to do this by helping organize the events and making this year’s COMUN as successful as possible since it’s the 30th session at OSC. This can really help me as I want to take on more responsibility this year and work on my management skills.

Activity – One of my objectives for this year is to enhance my basketball skills, especially dribbling and shooting, by practicing more frequently. To achieve this, I have scheduled to play basketball once or twice a week and engage in weekly training sessions, which will include drills for dribbling and shooting. Additionally, I aim to improve my fitness levels, both cardiovascular and muscular endurance. To accomplish this, I plan to go on a run once a week and maintain a regular gym routine. To monitor my progress, I will set fitness goals on a monthly basis. Finally, I hope to travel for SAISA basketball this year and bring back the trophy this year!

Service – This year I hope to participate more and have a more prominent role in my service which is “Hope For Kids” I want to do this by giving more ideas on how to efficiently spread awareness about cancer and I also want to give back more to the cancer community. I am planning to do this by suggesting hosting more fundraising events this year such as a bake sale, and our main highlight of the year which is the cricket match. My goal this year as a service member is to do one event every month whether it is an awareness event or a fundraising event, I want more people to know about our service this year and learn more about what we do and how we help kids diagnosed with cancer in Sri Lanka.
