Creativity:
I have to be specially focussed on this aspect of CAS because I would have to say that I’m not a very creative person and usually always prioritize my sports/athletics and academic subjects over creative ones. An exception to this is Theatre where even then, I much prefer the performance and the physical aspect of it rather than the creativity side such as directing or designing performances.
My goals for creativity in CAS are to:
- Join Senior Voice which takes place on Thursday at lunch
- Partake in the International School Theatre Association trip (ISTA)
Activity:
There are a few prioritized goals to do with physical exertion (activity) I have in mind for this year. These goals will contribute to my healthy lifestyle and complement my academic work elsewhere in the DP well.
My activity goal for CAS includes:
- Going to the gym at least three times a week for a total combined time of at least 4 hours each week (plus taking protein/creatine supplements daily)
- To run distance at least twice a week
- Going to swim practice at least 5 times a week and achieving personal bests and winning all 5 of my individual events SAISA swimming
Service:
For the service aspect of my CAS, I decided to join the US Peace Corps. For this service, once a week, on Thursdays after school for one hour from 3:30 to 4:30, the other members of the service and I get into a zoom call with village kids located in rural areas of the country and talk to them, helping them learn to speak English which will greater benefit them and provide them with many opportunities.
