Exercising is always a part of my daily routine, however busy my schedule is, I take at least some time out to exercise daily. Usually, I used to go learn cricket at an academy on the weekends, and I used to lead the cricket ASA every Friday, however, due to this ongoing pandemic, it has become impossible to continue those activities. Two weeks ago, I decided that I need to do some exercise because there isn’t much to do at home, and I was getting quite bored, which is why I started working out. So I was still pretty new working out because I mostly played cricket and some football here and there, but I never did a proper workout. Since I never worked out, I had no equipment at home, which is why I was desperately looking for some easy exercises without equipment.

I found a lot of exercises online, but I realized that it would be much easier if I could find an app that recommends exercises daily, which is why I decided to download an app called “Home Workout- No Equipment”.

It has three different levels: beginner, intermediate, and advanced and it recommends exercises for different many different parts of the body. I started from the “chest beginner” but then I started alternating between all the five categories because you need to give your muscles some time to relax and because of the delayed onset muscle soreness (DOMS).

It has been around 3 weeks since I had started and although it was quite difficult for me to start because I wasn’t in the habit of doing these kinds of exercises and I got tired very easily, but, little by little, I feel more comfortable and I actually enjoy it a lot.
