Creativity:

During this academic year, I am serving as the editor-in-chief of the school’s yearbook club. I am utilizing this as an ideal opportunity to enhance and showcase my design abilities. The yearbook club will provide me with assistance in enhancing my creativity and imagination, thereby enabling me to meet the anticipated criteria for the yearbook by the deadline. Furthermore, I intend to use this opportunity as an experience for my life journey, wherein creativity holds a significant role in the art of living. Moreover, one of my primary objectives as a leader of the yearbook club is to maximise my and the team’s team-building skills, communication skills and most importantly collaborative skills.

Activity:

As being active is significant for our physical well-being, throughout the year I intend on participating in multiple physical activities. Throughout the current academic year, I will primarily focus on badminton and cricket, both provided by the school’s ASA program. I am a current participant in the school’s cricket program. The badminton SAISA starts in the last academic quarter of this year, yet I still participate in practice sessions with my peers after school. As I am a novice in both sports, I anticipate that the initial phase may prove to be quite challenging. Therefore, my primary goal will be to familiarise the principles and fundamentals of cricket and badminton as I progress. Once again, these activities will contribute to my collaborative and communication skills.

Service:

I am a current member of the Hope for Kids service program. Hope for Kids is a charitable initiative that primarily focuses on providing assistance to the CCC House. During the year, we intend to alleviate the worries of cancer patients and their families through a variety of activities. These activities include, fundraisers, the yearly cricket tournament and food drives etc. Thus, they directly contribute immensely to monetary donations towards patient’s treatments and to supply them with dry food rations packs. Moreover, I intend to spend more time with the patients at any given occasion, and ensure their inclusion through activities such as drawing or engaging in normal conversations. As a team, we intend to maximise our role in raising awareness of the patients’ challenges, as well as spreading information about early detection and prevention to the community. This can be accomplished by collaborating with organizations, information sessions, and emphasizing various awareness days, etc. By doing so, as a group, we will enhance our collaborative and communication skills.
