October 31st 2021 – Cooking Nachos for My Family

On this day, I decided to make dinner for my family of 6 (including me) and cooked a staple dish which we all love. The dish itself is pretty simple with the use of cassava chips, coriander, chillies, onions, cream, cheese and Arabic styled chicken. Ironically this dish is something that I learned from watching my mum cook and over time learned from observing her cook. This dish is just one of the many that I do cook and plan to in the future. Something which I want to experiment with is maybe new types of dishes that are foreign to me in aims of learning a culturally diverse set of culinary knowledge.

For making the dish, I needed to pre-plan all the ingredients in order to cook it effectively and fast, which in a small way reflected how I could “Demonstrate how to initiate and plan a CAS experience”.
