Going To Work With Mom!

While I was on Christmas break, I went to work with my mom for a day! I helped her get all the staff Christmas gifts together. First thing we did was, we went to the main office at the Canadian embassy so she could check emails and so we could get some of the stuff we needed to bring to the Canadian house (the Canadian house is a place where dinners are held and a place anyone can use for meetings and things like that). After an hour we went to the Canadian house and started getting the bags ready. We first wrote all the staff names onto the bags and assembled them. Once all the names were on the bags, I worked on making sure the right mugs went in the right bags. Thenmaking sure the right vouchers were placed into the right bags. while I was doing that, my mom and the chef were wrapping the cakes to put into the bags, once they wrapped all of them I put one into each bag.The last thing I had to do was put a card and mask into each bag, then I tied off the bags so nothing could fall out. Then we put them all into the car and brought them back to the office. I had a lot of fun working with my mom, it was fun putting these gifts together for everyone!
