Boxing At Home!

Ever since we started distance learning (school from home), its been hard to stay active and keep motivated, so I’ve had to find new and fun ways to work out at home. One thing I have always wanted to try was boxing. Ive only boxed once before and that was in pe class at one of my old schools, we had some boxing instructors come in to the school for a day and we learned some of the basics of boxing. That was a few years ago so I don’t remember all of the details but I do remember having a lot of fun with it, even thought it was actually really hard. It’s a very physically demanding sport, so since boxing is a really good way to stay fit, I asked my dad if he would teach me some of the boxing basics, so we could box as a way to stay fit at home. So we got some boxing gloves and started working on some basic punches like, the jab, cross, hook and uppercut.  Once I had those basic punches down we would go one minute on and one minute off, of work. This is something I’m going to continue to do when we both have free time during the week. I think this is going to be fun way to keep active and its going to motivate me to workout.
